Be sure and read the Eligibility Criteria and course prerequisites carefully. If you are not fully qualified to be certified, you may audit the course, whereby you would get the benefit of the full instruction and examination to determine your abilities as an operator, but you will not be eligible for certification until you fulfill the eligibility requirements through additional experience or education.

Application for the course
In order to apply for the CXLT course you must complete two forms and send a check to William English, Inc. in the proper amount in US dollars to the address shown below. The required forms are Application Form and the Supplementary Professional Experience sheet.

Maintenance of Certification
Once you have been certified, in order to maintain your credential you must remain up-to-date with the technology and practices in the field. Therefore periodic re-certification is required. [See Maintenance of Certification Information] You must remain in the practice and submit evidence of continuing competence every three years and pay a renewal fee in order to remain a CXLT. You will be notified when you must submit the re-certification documentation and fee. You will need to complete the Maintenance of Certification Worksheet and send it with a check in the proper amount to William English, Inc.
